His life changed after receiving his motorized wheelchair, Juan regained his mobility and was no longer a burden to anyone, he happily rode his wheelchair around town until his passing. May he rest in peace.

Joaquin
Reflection from our Founder, Manolo. I remember lifting Juaquin’s fragile body onto his first electric wheelchair. It’s a moment I will never forget, being overwhelmed with emotion, this was the first wheelchair I personally delivered.
Joaquin later confided in me how impactful that wheelchair was to him. Unbenounced to me, Joaquin suffered from depression and wanted to end his life because of the situation he found himself in. Joaquin told me that that wheelchair gave him hope and purpose to continue to live!!!
